You live in a world that constantly exhorts you to improve yourself. You’ve worked at it – set goals, made lists, used apps, tried diets, decluttered, eaten superfoods, drank ridiculous amounts of water, meditated yourself right into a nap, and run through an impressive array of products and journals and workout clothes. We get told over and over that this thing or that thing will make us well. In pursuit of this idea of wellness we end up feeling…unwell and burnt out on “wellness”.

Perhaps you’ve exhausted yourself or you’ve lost faith in your ability to make changes to your life that feel rewarding. Maybe you’ve spent a lifetime caring for others and now you are faced with the idea that you need to care for yourself. The pursuit of what is next can feel immobilizing, exhausting and demoralizing.
When we are feeling stuck and uninspired, it is often because we don’t know what actions will give us the greatest return on our investment. By midlife, there is little patience for false starts and wasted time and the uncertainty of not knowing. At Move to Change, we shift the lens away from shoulds to what it is YOU actually need. It’s a process of self-discovery – actively thinking and talking about what your values are and what you want to do to live those values.
